:::: How the Kustom™ Fan Systems Pneumatic Controller works...
The programmable controller
uses three positions: cool, neutral and purge. While in the cool
position, the fan pulls air over the cooling core functioning as a
normal fan. This position is achieved on demand by high engine
temperature or high a/c head pressure. In the purge position, the
blades are positioned such that the air is pushed back through the
cooling core, which results in the purging (cleaning) of the core by
blowing the debris back out. This position is automatically
regulated through a timer which is set to a pre-determined frequency
and duration of purge. In the neutral position, the fan blades are
flat or at 0 degree pitch so the fan is not sucking or pushing air.
This position is critical because if the fan is not sucking air then
it will not be sucking debris into the "cooling core". We will soon have a complete system
available; this system is currently under development. We will be able to offer
our Kustom™ Pneumatic Control Module complete systems. For more information call

The system
is fully automatic and adaptable to most fan drives. Typical
installations include feed trucks, front-end loaders, forage
harvesters combines, manure spreaders, forestry equipment and snow
plows.
